Product Liability / Toxic Tort Litigation
The Law Offices of Neil D. Kodsi handles a wide array of product liability and toxic tort litigation, including cases alleging defective manufacture, defective design and toxic exposure cases.
Mr. Kodsi and Mr. Bravo are the primary attorneys responsible for handling product liability and toxic tort cases at the firm. They both have extensive experience litigating product liability cases, including several class actions and their cases often involve very complex scientific issues. In that respect, both Mr. Kodsi and Mr. Bravo have worked extensively with experts in the fields of chemistry, toxicology, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
As head of the firm’s Product Liability Practice, Mr. Kodsi brings extensive “Big Firm” experience to the firm. From 1997 to 2005, prior to moving from North Carolina to Florida, Mr. Kodsi served as National trial counsel for a major tobacco company in smoking and health litigation, including all environmental tobacco smoke (second hand smoke) lawsuits that had been filed in the United States as of that time. In that capacity, Mr. Kodsi also served as the chairman of the environmental tobacco smoke litigation team for the 2004-2005 Department of Justice Lawsuit against the entire tobacco industry and was the attorney primarily responsible for preparing the evidence presented by the four major tobacco companies on that topic.
In 2002, the National Law Journal recognized one of Mr. Kodsi’s trial victories in a product liability tobacco case as being one of the Top Ten Defense Verdicts of the year.
